The Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA is blessed and thankful to have continuous support from our community! We’re excited to use these generous donations to help raise money for our Annual Campaign. Unfortunately, the cancellation of our 1 fundraiser we host per year, we’ve had to pivot in a different direction. Every day we continue to adapt and change to help meet the needs within our community.
The YMCA is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
This fundraiser is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. Facebook is not associated with the promotion.
GIVING BACK ISN’T POSTPONED,
but our in person PARTY with a PURPOSE is…..
Having one of the Ys areas of focus being “social responsibility” we have made the very hard decision to cancel our in person Party with a Purpose Raffle, which was to be held on Saturday September 19th at the Dome Lanes.
This decision was not made overnight and was very difficult. Thinking about our community, the changing environment pertaining to COVID and balancing the right thing to do, made our decision even harder.
Many people want to get back to living their lives while others are still staying very isolated. Although no one would have been forced to attend the party itself, there’s always that force saying, “if you have it, they will come.” We determined we could not confidently keep everyone in attendance socially distanced or face covered for the duration of our event.
Many hours have been invested to make this community fundraising event safe and successful.
A heartfelt appreciation goes out to our Volunteers, Staff, Businesses, and Community members along with:
Ticket Sellers & Ticket Purchaser’s/Supporters
- Don’t worry, if you purchased a ticket it will automatically be good for our Party with a Purpose being held May 2021. Further details to come, when we secure a date
Donations to our Silent Auction
- Don’t worry, you can still support Annual Campaign! A Facebook Virtual Auction will give you a chance to bid on the amazing community donations we’ve received. This auction will be Monday September 21st - Sunday September 27th. More details to come.
- Don’t worry, those dollars will still be used for the designated cause – Annual Campaign / community support! These dollar donations will be added to the total amount the Y will use to support scholarships within the community for YMCA membership and programs.
A special thanks to our community supporters for this event –
Dome Lanes - Ryan and Michele Schoen
Jump’n Good Times - Bob and Sharon Nordquist
RoseBrook Band – Fred Popp, Hannah Kuehnl, Brady Rades, Zach Nault
Campbell / Schewe Family - $1000 Prize donation

The Y is and always will be an organization that depends on our paying members and program participants help keep our building running and staff employed. BUT, our steadfast community donors and supporters allow us to continue mission work, making a difference within the community.
I am sorry if you are disappointed, but hope you understand.
Stay well my friends…………..Terri Falkenberg YMCA Executive Director
