Description:
Hiring Personal Trainers to use their passion for health & well-being to encourage and empower individuals to make a difference in their lives! The Y has facilities with both functional training areas and strength & cardio equipment. As a personal fitness trainer, you’ll safely design, implement and monitor exercise programs for individuals and small groups of our members. Trainers also work closely with fitness instructors to provide to complete & holistic approach to whole-body improvements.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ranging 2-10 hours/week. Additional hours are available.
Openings: 1-3 hours/week; Shifts vary and are available 8:00-10:00 AM
Requirements:
- Degree in a health & wellness-related field or personal trainer certification through a NCCA-accredited institution
- Prior experience working with special populations (i.e., diabetes, cancer survivors, pre/post-rehab, elderly, youth) is preferred but not required.
- Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.

Description: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Custodian cleans and sanitizes assigned areas by completing such duties as mopping, dusting, trash removal, meeting room set up, pool cleaning, snow removal, grounds keeping, etc.Openings: 4-10 hours/week; Shifts vary and are available 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
Requirements:
- Six months or more of related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment preferred
- Basic understanding of upkeep and care of equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with YMCA preferred but not required
- Must be a self-starter, team player, reliable, and have an eye for detail
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred but are provided upon employment

Description:
Hiring Group Fitness Instructors to lead personal wellness & fitness classes in our pool. You provide the energetic know-how and the enthusiasm; we’ll provide the equipment and resources you need to succeed.
This is a part-time aquatics position with morning class times available. Additional hours are also available, both in the pool and on land. We encourage those with a passion for fitness to apply, no matter what your prior experience. We can provide all the necessary trainings.

Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise physiology.
- Certification in Group Fitness &/or Strength & Conditioning or be willing to obtain through Y USA or another nationally-recognized program.
- Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
- Prior experience in teaching fitness classes or have completed the Y’s Group Fitness Instructor Training Program or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.

Description: Recreational Gymnastics instructors at the Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA are experts in fun! Work with youth of all ages and abilities as they tumble, roll and spring into action. Our instructors teach and coach gymnastics & tumbling participants in competitive, and non-competitive environments.
This is an entry-level position, ideal for those with gymnastics skills & knowledge but not required. We will provide any continuing education and training needed to succeed.
We’re currently hiring multiple instructors for various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, early evenings &/or weekends to meet the needs of our members. Enjoy working with a wide range of ages from toddler to high school age in a positive, engaging environment. We can offer a very flexible schedule between 4-20 hours/week (depending on the season)
Requirements
- Knowledge of gymnastics skills and progressions preferred but not required.
- Desire to coach & teach.
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
