SWIM INSTRUCTORS: Teach swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety to students.
LIFEGUARDS: Enforce safety rules, monitor the water for danger, and rescue swimmers.
CUSTODIAL: Sweeping and mopping of floors, as well as vacuuming carpets. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and showers. Anything else your supervisor needs you to do.
MAINTENANCE: Fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks could include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system. Anything else your supervisor needs you to do.
PERSONAL TRAINERS: Build a fitness program to meet the needs of the client.Adding in elements of physical fitness and nutrition
WELLNESS COACHES: Build relationships with members by member engagement. Also keeping the fitness equipment neat, clean and functional
FITNESS INSTRUCTORS: Lead, instruct, and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stretching.
GYMNASTICS COACH: Instruct younger children in coordination and motor skills while jumping, running and laughing as a beginner coach to children ages 3-6. Teach proper form, advanced skills and discipline along with strength and flexibility to those 6+. Must have knowledge of the sport.
TOT-WATCH: This is our drop-in child care. A fun, engaging and interactive environment that is available for children to parents and grandparents working out. Children aged birth to 7.
WELCOME DESK: You are the first point of contact for our members! Must be friendly, able to multi-task and want to learn the behind the scenes and fun of the YMCA.
YKIDS SUMMER DAY CAMP: Engage with children ages 4 - 6th grade while giving the opportunity of having a safe place to be when not in school - playing, making friends, swimming along with homework help and literacy time all while at the Y!
YKIDS SUMMER DAY CAMP: Engage with children all summer long with their reading, writing, playing, and swimming. Be a positive role model, out-going and able to lead structured youth activities.
YOUTH SPORTS: Do you remember your favorite coach as a child? Be just that! A positive, energetic, outgoing role model with the knowledge of sports. Teach the fundamentals and basics to children in your class. Give encouragement and have fun.
