Kids' Zone | After School

 Kids Zone Enrichment Program offered at the YMCA – 1600 West Dr. Menominee MI 49858:

• $25 - Registration Fee paid 1 time  
• Open to any youth ages 4 – 6th grade

Kids Zone Enrichment Program

•  Monday - Friday after school - 5:30pm
• Rate/ child:  M- $50 /week  GP- $140/ week
• If you are registering more than 1 child / family member use code 'Family50%' to receive a discount for every child AFTER your first child is registered!

Automatic billing will be set up to draft from your credit card or bank account when registering. Weekly your account will be drafted automatically the Friday before the week of participation, unless notification is provided in advance that your child will not be present the following week.

 Scholarship/ Financial assistance is available on our website, www.mmymca.org.

Registration is done only online, and takes about 1 hr to complete per child. Access the registration portal by visiting our website, listed above. 

The system will automatically time out after :45 min - PLEASE have the following items ready before starting registration:

1. Child’s immunization records 

2. Emergency Contact information including place of employment contact information

3. Forms of payment you will be using, added to your Daxko membership screen

Registration will need to be completed for each child enrolling.  

Programming includes...

• All the U.P outdoor fun you can think of!

While outdoors, participants will make use of the created playscape on the tennis courts, play Nine Square in the Air, gaga ball, hike and learn new outdoor games. 

Afterschool activities will be outdoor based throughout the school year, although the Homebase for each group will change with the seasons. Initially, campers will make use of the tents outside of the YMCA that were utilized by the summer camp program and will migrate indoors to the YMCA as needed. 

Weather appropriate clothes to be outside no matter what the temp, rain, snow, shine.  

• Water bottle
• Swimming suit / towel
• Healthy Lunch
• Healthy snacks if hungrier than what we're providing for snack
• Electronic devices to do virtual work if needed

During the Y's new program - Y-Kids Learners Camp, students ages 4 - 6th grade will have the opportunity of having a safe place to be when not in school - playing, making friends, swimming along with homework help and literacy time all while at the Y!
We’ve extended summer camp into the school year – SUPER fun!

We have prepared to have camp available on an "as needed" basis.  If you are in need of camp care, please PREREGISTER  online so we can staff accordingly.

Campers who are providing their own transportation can be dropped off at the back of the Y, adjacent to the Outback building.

 Drop-off for Y-Kids Learners Camp is between 3:00 and 3:30 pm.  Pick-up times are from 5:00 to 5:30 pm in the back of the Y, adjacent to the Outback building. 

Please drive through the drop-off/pick-up circle and a camp staff will do the rest!. 

We will use walkie-talkies to communicate between when a parent/guardian is there to pick up.  If anyone is picked up prior to that time, they will need to wait in their car while their child is sent to the pick-up point.

Westlund Busing will be providing transportation, but pick up locations are limited, please see below: 

•  Busing is only provided for students  in Marinette & Menominee. 

• Youth outside of Marinette and Menominee are more than welcome to join the fun, but you'll need to provide your own transportation!
